Victorian students are expected to return to face-to-face learning in Term 4.
Yesterday in the daily press conference, Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton was cautiously optimistic and said he believed students would return next term.
He said the usual caveats apply, including no community transmission, people sticking to the rules.
“We are heading in the right direction for face-to-face learning,” he said.
“I think it will be staggered in terms of seeing how it will work.
“I hope we get there.”
Education Minister James Merlino later said he believed it would be a reality for Victorian families.
“I’m confident that schools will return to face-to-face learning in Term 4,” he said.
